FA Cup Results: Tottenham Hotspur Team 8th Division Five Goals Without Reply
JAKARTA - Tottenham Hotspur shaved the lowest-tier Marine team 5-0 in the third round of the FA Cup, at Rossett Park Stadium, Merseyside, England, Sunday local time (Monday WIB). Jose Mourinho's troops qualify for the fourth round.
Launching Antara, Marine, the eighth tier team of the English football league, went through five pre-elimination matches and the first two rounds of the FA Cup to challenge Tottenham.
Even Marine gave Tottenham shock therapy in the 20th minute when striker Neil Kengni fired a long-range shot which unfortunately hit the crossbar and was finally secured by goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Two minutes later, Tottenham responded to the surprise by opening up the lead when Bamidele Alli's deep cross was met by Carlos Vinicus who calmly beat goalkeeper Bayleigh Passant before hitting the ball into an already no man's net.
Vinicius doubled Tottenham's lead in the 30th minute when he was in the right position to grab a ball from Matt Doherty's throwing shot that Passant couldn't stop.
Two minutes later, Tottenham scored again, this time with a brilliant free-kick from Lucas Moura that gave Passant no chance to save.
The rain of goals continued and in the 37th minute, Vinicius completed his hat-trick with a perfect finish into the top left corner of the net to increase Tottenham's lead to 4-0.

A four-goal lead allowed Jose Mourinho to give 16-year-old Alfie Devine the opportunity to increase his flying hours by replacing Moussa Sissoko entering the second half.
Devine paid off Mourinho's trust by scoring Tottenham's fifth goal in the 60th minute after completing a Lucas Moura pass.
Devine practically listed his name as Tottenham's youngest goalscorer in the FA Cup in history.
Although unable to add to the 5-0 lead that lasted until the match was over, Tottenham opened up the opportunity to have success in other domestic cup competitions, after reaching the Premier League Cup final against Manchester City in April.
