Indirect Clarification Of His Wealth, Former Head Of Yogyakarta Customs: That's The Leader's Order
JAKARTA - Former Yogyakarta Customs Chief Eko Darmanto admitted that he received an order not to immediately clarify his wealth. He chose to follow the direction of his leadership not to do anything.
"I did not provide any clarification on that because it was an order from the leadership for me not to take any action," Eko told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, March 7.
He apologized if his behavior made the public busy. However, Eko denied that he had intentionally uploaded his wealth on social media.
Eko said, there was private data that was broken by other parties and framed as if he showed off his wealth. "When he injures people's feelings, then injures public trust in my leadership, both at the Ministry of Finance and the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, I apologize," he said.
Previously, Eko was clarified about the assets he submitted in the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) for the 2021 period. He was questioned from 09.00 WIB to 17.40 WIB or 8.5 hours.
In the LHKPN, Eko recorded assets ownership of Rp. 15.7 billion. However, that amount shrank to Rp. 6.7 billion because it was deducted by debts of Rp. 9 billion.
It was recorded that Rp. 12.5 billion was recorded in Eko's assets in the form of two land and building assets in Malang and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, Rp. 2.9 billion includes 9 means of transportation.
In detail, Eko owns a BMW sedan 2018 for IDR 850 million, a Mercedes Benz sedan 2018 worth IDR 600 million, a Jeep Willys 1944 for IDR 150 million, a Chevrolet Bell Air 1955 IDR 200 million, a Toyota Fortuner 2019 worth IDR 400 million.
Then, Mazda 2019 for IDR 200 million, Fargo Dodge 1957 worth IDR 150 million, Chevrolet Apache 1957 IDR 200 million, and Ford Bronco 1972 for IDR 150 million. All of these vehicles are registered for their own results.
However, no big motorbike is registered in the LHKPN. In fact, Eko Darmantorap uploaded a video showing off a Harley Davidson and even a Cessna plane.
