Evoria Festival And Conference 2023 Held At M Bloc Space This Weekend
JAKARTA - EVO diplomats in collaboration with M Bloc Entertainment and Alive Indonesia will hold Evoria Festival and Conference 2023 at several M Bloc Space venues, South Jakarta on March 11 and 12.
"The Evo diplomats are very proud to see the journey and achievements of the great talents of newcomers in this music field. They are a new generation who are sure to shed more light on Indonesia's music scene in the future," said Edric Chandra as the Diplomat Evo Event Manager at the Evoria Festival and Conference 2023 press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday.
"We also really appreciate the extraordinary collaboration with great figures in the music industry as mentors, as well as strategic collaboration with M Bloc Space," he continued.
This event will show the best action of dozens of newcomer musicians or bands who have passed the curation. Also, participating in the incubation program with national music industry professionals and having previously held seven showcases in several venues such as Jakarta, Bekasi, and Tangerang.
"After a long series of submissions, incubations to new talent showcases have been selected, Evoria is now ready to present a festival that will provide new experiences and networks not only for new musicians, as well as for music lovers with a series of programs from music performances to conferences that present many excellent musicians and speakers from professional and experienced practitioners," said Ardy Siji as CEO of M Bloc Entertainment as well as Evoria mentors.
Since it was first launched in November last year, 462 newcomer musicians/bands from various regions in Indonesia have registered their music.
After going through a rigorous curation process, 10 newcomer musicians/bands were finally selected to participate in the entire Evoria program which lasted for approximately five months.
The first batch of best newcomers who are often nicknamed 'Evoria 10' are Brian Rahmattio (Padang), Egi Virgiawan, Badminton Whisper (Medan), Milka Eime, Shoki, Virdania, Reyner, Dayze (Medan), Pink Pitch, and covertopia.
"During my participation in Evoria, I gained a lot of insight from mentors who had experience in their respective fields. This knowledge made it easier for me to develop strategies in my work, both in the manufacturing process and in marketing. It didn't stop there, I also got a lot of new relationships with local gigs, media, and fellow emerging artists," said Milka Eime.
In addition to music from newcomers, this event was also enlivened by a number of guest stars such as The Up Shields, The Adams, The Sigit, The Panturas, HMGNC, Bronze, Bottlesmoker, and The Sugar Spun.
Meanwhile, Evoria's music press conference also presented professional practitioners in the music industry. Among them are Armand Maulana (GIGI) who talks about 'Living from Music', Arian 13 (Serious) who will share material about the successful strategy of selling band merchandise, David Karto (Synchronize Fest and Demajors) who share tips for penetrating well-known music festivals, and Angkuy who will tell his experience of traveling concert tours with Bottlesmoker.
Then, Rey Idris Letlora (Manager Pamungkas) will share tips and tricks for holding concert tours independently, Rudolf Dethu (Manager of The Hydrant) who will share tips on fashion style and effective music propaganda methods, to Edy Khemod (drugger Seringai and director Cerahati) who will provide the best and best direction in the pocket in producing music videos for musicians or newcomer bands.
