Central Lampung Regent Claims To Leave His Brother To Karomani Enter The Faculty Of Medicine Unila
Central Lampung Regent Musa Ahmad admitted that he had entrusted his brother to enter the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lampung (Unila)."Yes, there are still relatives. Yes, it was entrusted to the Unila Medical Faculty (Fulty)," said Musa Ahmad at the Tanjungkarang Corruption Court, Bandarlampung, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, March 7.Musa Ahmad was presented as a witness during the follow-up trial of the 2022 Unila new student admission bribery case for the defendants Karomani, Heryandi, and M. Basri.Musa admitted that around February or March 2022 he was asked for help by a village head in Central Lampung named Rudiyanto to bring his son to FK Unila."He (Rudiyanto) asked for help because I knew Karomani. Then I told him to meet Karomani directly and convey it. I said that if I wanted to ask to include my nephew through an independent route," said Musa.He also revealed that Karomani at that time replied that he would try to help."Okay, I'll try," said Karomani, there were no other talks," he said.However, the Regent of Central Lampung also emphasized that he had never given money or any infaq to include his brother."There is no infaq, it is only limited to entrusting it," he said.At the follow-up trial of the 2022 Unila new student admission bribery case against the defendants Karomani, M Basri, and Heryandi at the Tanjungkarang Corruption Court, the KPK public prosecutor presented eight witnesses, but seven witnesses were present.They are Linda Fitri as a housewife, Giani Putri who works at Bank Lampung, Central Lampung Regent Musa Ahmad, Hengki (Banten Warrior Association), Marzani (West Tulangbawang DPRD member), Mardiana (member of the Lampung Provincial DPRD), and Head of Planning and Public Relations of Unila Budi Sutomo.Meanwhile, one witness who is also the wife of the defendant Karomani did not attend the trial because he resigned.
