Apart from ensuring that the black box search operation continues tonight, Kabasarnas also shared the findings of the joint team search operation.

Regarding the crash of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 aircraft, President Joko Widodo expressed his condolences. The plane on the Jakarta-Pontianak route crashed in the waters of the Thousand Islands on Saturday, January 9.

He has also ordered the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya and the Head of Basarnas to Marshal Madya TNI Bagus Puruhito, who is assisted by the TNI and Polri, to carry out search and rescue operations as quickly as possible to the victims.
Jokowi also prayed that the search team would find and rescue victims.

In addition, Jokowi asked the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) to conduct an investigation into this disaster.
