2 Illegal Drug Dealers Arrested In Lebak, One North Aceh Resident
The Lebak Police Narcotics Unit arrested 2 teenage pharmaceutical drug dealers without a distribution permit at a kiosk on Jalan Raya Bayah-Cibareno, Bayah District, Lebak Regency. The Head of the Lebak Banten Police, AKBP Wiwin Setiawan, through the Head of the Lebak Police Narcotics Unit, AKP Malik Abraham, confirmed the arrest.
"The two suspects deliberately circulated pharmaceutical preparations that did not have a distribution permit in the Lebak Police jurisdiction," Malik said in a written statement, Monday, March 6.
Malik also explained that the perpetrators consisted of two people with the initials ZL (22) residents of Sawang, North Aceh and RA (32) residents of Bayah District, Lebak Regency. The two perpetrators were arrested by the Lebak Police Narcotics Unit on Monday, February 27, at around 16.00 WIB.
"From the two perpetrators, the officers managed to secure evidence in the form of 175 yellow pills bearing the Hexymer MF logo, 24 pills of the Tramadol HCI type, cash from the sale of Rp. 70,000, one unit of a white Oppo type A5 cellphone, and 1 unit of a Samsung type J2 Prime Gold cellphone. " he explained.
To account for their actions, the two perpetrators are subject to Article 196 or Article 197 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health with a minimum penalty of 5 years and a maximum of 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of 1 billion and a maximum of 10 billion.
