Ready To Launch Mid-March, IPhone SE 2 Costs IDR 5 Million

JAKARTA - Continuing rumors and analysis about Apple which is expected to launch the iPhone SE 2 in March. Here are some speculations that say the device will look similar to the iPhone 8.

Quoting Apple Insider, Sunday, February 9, the iPhone SE is the only Apple phone that has a size of 4 inches. The news is that the iPhone SE 2 will have a larger screen of about 4.9 inches. Equipped with an A13 bionic chip, 3 GB RAM and a much cheaper price than the iPhone X series, which is around 399 US dollars or the equivalent of Rp. 5.4 million.

The model of this phone will look similar to the previous generation. Apple also immersed the Touch ID feature instead of Face ID, using the design of the iPhone 8.

Previously it was reported, Apple also equipped the iPhone SE 2 with a 12MP camera with f / 1.8 aperature and OIS on the back. Meanwhile, the front camera has a 7MP resolution with aperature f / 2.2.

While other rumors are that the iPhone SE will have two low-priced models launched in 2020, while the big screen version will appear in 2021.

Apple's iPhone SE 2 was made by Apple so that millennials can have a sophisticated smartphone at an affordable price, and they are also targeting to enter the Indian market, where cheap devices are still the main choice. This cheap smartphone is also expected to increase market share in China.

Although it is relatively cheap, Apple will reportedly supply a variety of color choices for the iPhone SE 2, namely gray, silver and red. Like Apple's flagship iPhone line, the manufacturer from Cupertino, USA, will not feature 3D Touch, but will adopt Haptic Touch. There may be 64 GB and 128 GB storage options.

Not a few Apple fans prefer to use the iPhone SE, because apart from being small and simple, the device is also easy to hold. Others, Apple will sell these phones between 20 to 40 million units this year.

Although the iPhone SE 2 has not yet been released, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted about the next series in 2021. Kuo estimates that Apple will introduce the iPhone SE 2 Plus with a screen that is large enough, but does not have Face ID, and a Touch ID fingerprint sensor which is is on the power button. The device is expected to feature a 5.5 or 6.1-inch LCD screen, and will return to the market at a low price.
