Spanish Record Under Moreno And Rumors Of Enrique's Return
BARCELONA - The future of the Spanish national team coach Robert Moreno will be determined by the appearance of Sergio Ramos et al at the 2020 European Cup. This was stated by the President of the RFEF (Spain's PSSI) Luis Rubiales.
La Roja wrapped up Euro 2020 tickets with a 1-1 result against Sweden last October, and the coach had a great feast with his experimental team when they beat Malta 7-0 in Cadiz last week and continued to beat Romania five goals without reply last night, Monday, 18 November.
However, Rubiales confirmed he will provide an assessment of Moreno once the competition is over, with the decisions being made closely related to his future in the national team.
"When qualifying is finished next week, we will reflect on the situation," he said in an interview with Marca.
"We are very happy with Robert, and that has not changed. After the tournament is over, we will look at this problem again."
Moreno took charge of the senior team midway through La Roja's Euro 2020 qualifier, after Luis Enrique resigned for personal reasons. He then leads the Matador Team on a permanent basis when Enrique resigns following the tragic death of his young daughter.
In the hands of Moreno, La Roja appeared unbeaten in nine matches. With details, two wins and two draws.

The current deal expires after Euro 2020 with the option of a two-year contract extension if Spain lives up to expectations in the competition. However, Enrique's assistant while at Rome, Celta Vigo and Barcelona has repeatedly said he will resign from his current position if Enrique returns.
Now Football Espana reports that Enrique will really return to the Spanish national team and an announcement will be made at a press conference that will be held today.
Meanwhile the RFEF will provide an explanation of the situation in the next few days.
