Story Of Co-Pilot Fadly: Had A Call Of Mother Before Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 Fly

JAKARTA - Co-Pilot Fadly Satrianto contacted his family before the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane flew from Jakarta to Pontianak, West Kalimantan, which ended up having an accident in the waters of the Thousand Islands on Saturday, January 9.

Reported by Antara, Sunday, January 10, Sumarzen Marzuki, Fadly's biological father, said that the youngest son of three siblings always called his mother, Ninik Andriyani, every time he would fly.

"Yesterday when he called, his mother asked whether he wanted to fly with a plane or not. He answered no," he said, when confirmed at his home, Jalan Tanjung Pinang Surabaya.

Sumarzen explained that his son worked for the airline "Nam Air", which is a subsidiary of Sriwijaya Air.

"He planned to take the Nam Air plane as a Co-Pilot from Pontianak. When he departed from Jakarta to Pontianak, he informed his mother via telephone," he said.

Last night Sumarzen also received a call from Nam Air regarding the accident of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane crash.

"Nam Air apologized for this accident. The Sriwijaya Air plane that had an accident also contained a complete Nam Air crew, from the pilot to the flight attendant who planned to fly with my son. Where do I not know the destination," he explained.

When the accident occurred, Fadly was 28 years old and single. Sumarzen recounted that Fadly went to flight school after obtaining a law degree from Airlangga University, Surabaya.

The alumnus of State Senior High School (SMAN) 2 Surabaya immediately worked at Nam Air Airline after graduating from a series of flight schools, which he had been in for the last three years.

"Becoming a pilot is his dream since he was a child," said Sumarzen.

One by one the relatives seemed to come to Sumarzen's house to convey their condolences for the tragedy that had been experienced by their son.

This former official at the state-owned company PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) III looks strong while receiving guests who keep arriving. Meanwhile his wife, Ninik Andriyani, seemed unable to contain her sadness by crying continuously.
