The Papua Prosecutor's Office Submits Documents On The Alleged Helicopter Corruption Case To The Corruption Court
JAYAPURA - The Papua High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has handed over a case file for alleged corruption that dragged the Acting Regent of Mimika JR. Thus the status is no longer a suspect but a defendant.
"The status is already a defendant, no longer a suspect," said Aspidsus Kejati Papua, Sutrisno Margi Utomo in a written statement, Monday, March 6.
Sutrisno said the case had fulfilled the elements of alleged corruption with state losses reaching Rp. 69,135,404,600.
One of the alleged violations is the procurement process that is not in accordance with the rules. Where JR, who in 2015 served as Head of the Communication and Information Transportation Service, appointed PT Asian One Air, whose shares partly belonged to Suzana Susi Heraway, who is also JR's wife, to procure, income and operate aircraft and helicopters belonging to the Mimika Regency Government.
Regarding state losses, it arises because, first, because of the difference in overpayment of the purchase of aircraft and helicopters amounting to Rp4,967,813,050.
Then the loss of state financial revenue rights, in this case the Mimika Regency Government, amounted to Rp21,848,875,000 from the lease of the operational cooperation contract for Grand Caravan and Helicopter aircraft that were not paid.
Also lost ownership rights and ownership of Mimika Regency Government assets from goods in the form of 1 helicopter purchased using the 2015 Mimika Regional Budget worth Rp42,318,716,550.
