Promote Proud Traveling In Indonesia, Kemenparekraf Participates In Lombok Sumbawa Fair 2023
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) participated in the Lombok Sumbawa Fair (LSF) 2023 as part of the side event of the 2023 World Superbike (WSBK) which took place at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, on March 3-5.
The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy participated by holding the Nusantara Tourism Exhibition with the theme Beli Kreatif Tourism Village goes to Mall as well as promoting Proud to Travel in Indonesia (BBWI).
"This participation is expected to encourage the achievement of the target of the movement of domestic tourists by 1.4 billion in 2023 with the value of tourism contribution to GDP which is expected to reach 4.10 percent," said Menparekraf Sandiaga in a written statement, quoted Monday, March 6.
Lombok Sumbawa Fair is one of the side events that also enlivened the 2023 Mandalika World Superbike (WSBK) event.
The LSF event is also a means of promotion and development for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). A total of 360 MSMEs were involved in this event, both national-scale MSMEs, NTB, and Central Lombok (Loteng) MSMEs as hosts.
Meanwhile, the Director of Tourism Marketing for the Archipelago of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Dwi Marhen Yono, said that at this exhibition, his party had facilitated two online travel agents, namely Mister Aladin and Atourin, as well as three tourist villages that won ADWI (Anugerah Indonesian Tourism Village) which are located in West Nusa Tenggara, namely Bilebante Tourism Village, Senaru Tourism Village, and Bonjeruk Tourism Village.
"Visitors can buy tour village packages starting at a price of Rp. 100,000, as well as other discounts, such as tour packages and tourist attractions to five Super Priority Tourism Destinations, namely Lake Toba, Borobudur, Likupang, Labuan Bajo, and Mandalika," said Dwi Marhen.
In addition to enlivening the World Superbike 2023 event, the participation of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in Lombok Sumbawa Fair 2023 is expected to move the community for the #DiIndonesiaAja holiday program and spur the regional economy.
"Moreover, by promoting tourist villages, the benefits of the tourism sector and the creative economy in the country can be felt directly by the community," he said.
In addition to participating in Lombok-Sumbawa Fair, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy also presents a planogram at Lombok International Airport.
Planogram installation is a portable installation format exhibition, in which every poster of brands of creative products is displayed equipped with a barcode that will direct visitors to their selling stores online.
This program presents 40 superior creative products that have previously gone through a rigorous curation process. The majority of these creative products come from the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) region.
