Mohamed Salah Brace When Liverpool Won 7-0 Over MU, Robbie Fowler's Record As The Club's Most Goalscorer

JAKARTA - Mohamed Salah successfully listed his name in Liverpool's history book. He crossed Robbie Fowler's record as the Reds' top scorer in the Premier League through a brace in the match against Manchester United.

In the match which took place on Sunday, March 5 evening WIB, Salah scored Liverpool's fourth and sixth goals at Anfield Stadium. On Monday, March 6, the additional goal means Salah has now scored 129 goals that surpassed Robbie Fowler with 128 goals.

In that score, Salah also scored all of his goals through 203 matches. That number is significantly less than the other former Reds strikers.

Salah sukses menjadi ikon timnya di Anfield. Ia telah membantu klub asal Merseyside itu memenangkan gelar Premier League Inggris di musim 2019/2020, di mana itu jadi gelar pertama Liverpool sejak 1992.

The winner of last season's Golden Boot has also won success in the Champions League. The 30-year-old won the competition in 2019 and appeared in the 2018 and 2022 finals.

Here are Salah's five best moments of attack for Liverpool in the Premier League when handled by Jurgen Klopp, as reported by Livescore.com:

Liverpool 1-1 Everton (December 2017)

The agenda for this meeting with Everton became the first Merseyside Derby for Salah which then led him to win the 2018 Puskas Award.

In this match Salah managed to take the ball from Joe Gomez on the right, he then shot past Everton's defense past three defenders before releasing an attempt into the net. His effort past Jordan Pickford before scoring a goal in the top corner of the net will forever be remembered as one of Merseyside's great derby goals.

Liverpool 2-2 Tottenham (February 2018)

Not a few exciting moments have occurred in Liverpool vs Tottenham's match in recent years, but Salah's solo move at Anfield in 2018 was the best.

At that moment Spurs equalized before Salah attacked. This African player was able to enter the Spurs defense even though he was escorted by four players before tricking Hugo Lloris.

Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea (April 2019)

Salah's rocket kick against Chelsea in 2019 was one of his most memorable attacks to decorate Anfield's pitch. That moment will live in the memory of every Reds fan.

Sadio Mane had opened the scoring minutes earlier, but the world-class winger stole the show again after receiving the ball from Virgil van Dijk.

Salah set the accuracy of his shot before passing Emerson and grabbed his way into the top corner, leaving Kepa Arrizabalaga without a chance.

Liverpool 2-2 Manchester City (October 2021)

Prior to this, Liverpool failed to win the Premier League title just over a point difference with City. But Salah's goal against Manchester City in October 2021 led Reds fans to believe they were then champions once again.

The three-time Golden Boot winner received the ball with his back, before passing Joao Cancelo and dancing through Bernardo Silva. He also tricked Aymeric Laporte into tricking Ederson.

Through his appearance, it is not surprising that Salah then won the award. He became Liverpool's best player because of his goal-scoring instincts.

Watford 0-5 Liverpool (October 2021)

If Salah's attempt against Man City did not win the best goal that month, his goal against Watford could be taken into consideration.

Once again, the winger showed his very fast feet to keep the ball. He then moved away from a group of opposing players before kicking with his left foot.

The curling shot into the lower corner with precision, so Ben Foster seemed stunned by the accuracy of the shot.
