Bad weather hit Kendari in Southeast Sulawesi (Sulteng) in recent days. Anticipating the potential for hydrometeorological disasters, the police checked supporting tools for carrying out SAR tasks or operations.

Eka also said that all personnel at the Kendari Police Headquarters will always be ready in carrying out natural disaster management operations that occur in their jurisdiction.
He also appealed to the people of Kendari City to always take care of themselves and be more careful in carrying out activities outside the home.
"People should always be alert and always pay attention to their own safety when doing activities outside the home," he said.
