JAKARTA - The Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Jakarta has received data on the families of the victims of the SJ-182 Sriwijaya Air plane until Sunday, January 10 this afternoon.
"Until now we have received reports from 12 families of victims," said Head of the National Police Hospital, Brigadier General Asep Hendradiana at a press conference at the Jakarta Police Hospital.
Meanwhile, Commander of the Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Police Hospital, Kombes Hery Wijatmoko said that the 12 families of the victims underwent a series of examinations at the ante mortem post, starting from taking DNA samples, fingerprints, fingers and teeth.
In addition, he said, the National Police Hospital DVI Team also asked for secondary data in the form of medical records and properties. Asep said that these data would make it easier for the DVI team at the Police Hospital in the identification process.
"At the ante mortem post we involved 51 experts," said Hery.
After undergoing the examination, the victim's family received psychological and religious assistance from a team prepared by the National Police Hospital.
Furthermore, Hery said the Police Hospital DVI Team had also coordinated with Sriwijaya Air to obtain detailed passenger lists, including seat numbers and surveillance camera recordings.
"Later it will be captured one by one from each passenger during boarding," said Hery.
Previously, the Sriwijaya Air aircraft registered number PK-CLC SJ-182 route Jakarta-Pontianak lost contact on Saturday, January 9 at 14:40 WIB and crashed in the waters of the Thousand Islands between Lancang Island and Laki Island.
The Boeing 737-500 aircraft lost contact at a position 11 nautical miles north of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang after passing an altitude of 11,000 feet and at the time of increasing its altitude at 13,000 feet.
