Fadli's Mother, Extra Crew Of Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 Give DNA Samples To DVI Polda Jatim

JAKARTA - The Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Team of the East Java Police (Jatim) has received a DNA sample belonging to the mother from an extra crew of Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 aircraft, Fadly Satrianto.

Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko, as reported by Antara, revealed that this sample was then matched with the available samples.

"Yes, that's right, Fadly's mother came to the East Java Regional Police Headquarters to provide DNA samples from the Sriwijaya crew from Surabaya," said Kombes Gatot in Surabaya, Sunday, January 10.

This DNA sampling is very important in the process of searching for passengers and crew.

If anything is found, it is immediately matched with the available sample. So that later, DNA samples from Fadly's mother will be sent to Jakarta.

"DNA will later be brought to the DVI Dokkes Polri Laboratory in Jakarta," said Gatot.

Fadly is an alumnus of the Faculty of Law (FH) Universitas Airlangga (Unair) class of 2011. Fadly is known to have been active in organizations as a student. He has been in the Student Executive Board (BEM) for the 2013-2014 period. He spent 3.5 years of college in the Legal Studies program.

As is known, the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane from Soekarno Hatta Airport to Pontianak, West Kalimantan Province had an accident on Saturday, January 9. Shortly after flying the plane lost contact with the control tower.

The plane with the PK-CLC registration number carried a total of 12 crew and 50 passengers, seven of whom were children and three were babies.

Until now, the wreckage is still in the search process in the waters of the Thousand Islands, DKI Jakarta.
