He said, in handling the silting of the river mouth flow, the provincial government would carry out initial handling by dredging in the short and long term, so that fishermen could return smoothly in and out of the estuary.

"In yesterday's review, we agreed to open the flow, so that fishermen can easily go in and out. This will be done as soon as possible," he said.

He wants this issue to be handled as soon as possible, after that, only other related discussions will be discussed.

"We will open the flow by borrowing the company's heavy equipment, and there are also several parties who come to cooperate with the provincial government," he said.

Sungailiat Bangka An fishermen really hope that the handling of the mouth of the Jelith River can be done soon, because this has an impact on the disruption of the activities of fishermen.

"I can't go to sea because I can't go in and out of the estuary and we ask for the best, as long as the estuary flow can be open and passed and the activities of fishermen can run well. We haven't been able to go to sea for a week, as a result of this we lost our livelihood," he said.
