A Total Of 15 Victims Died In The Central Plumpang Depo Fire Identified
JAKARTA - The fire that hit the Pertamina Plumpang Depot, Koja, North Jakarta which caused the fire to seize residential areas.
A number of residential areas were also affected, namely Tanah Merah Bawah Village, Rawa Badak Selatan, Koja were also affected by the fire.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko said that currently the National Police's forensic team was identifying dozens of body bags.
"So far, the data I have received from the Kapolda and related parties have been 15 (victims died) until this afternoon," Trunoyudo said when met at the location, Jakarta, Saturday, March 4.
Furthermore, said Trunoyudo, currently the forensic team continues to identify the victims affected by the fire. "We identify with what we have received 15 bodies," he concluded.
As previously reported, Pertamina Marketing Operation Region (MOR) III confirmed the fire that occurred in the fuel receipt pipe in Plumpang Depo, Koja, North Jakarta, Friday night.
"There was an incident of burning the fuel receipt pipe at the Integrated BBM Jakarta Terminal, Plumpang," said Pertamina MOR III Communication Relations and CSR Unit Manager Eko Kristiawan, via text message, Friday.
Based on information from the Command Center of the Fire and Safety Agency (Gulmarmat), the first information about the incident was received by officers at 20.11 WIB.
