Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 Plane Falls, A Line Of Celebrities Grieve

JAKARTA - The Indonesian people were shocked by the disappearance of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 flight from Jakarta to Pontianak on Saturday, January 9.

Several celebrities in the country also mourned the incident. They conveyed messages via Instagram to invite the public to pray that the plane would be found soon and victims could be helped.

Ifan, the vocalist of Seventeen, uploaded a news post and said that a friend was known to be on the plane. "O Allah, save everything there, there is a friend of mine and his wife there, O Allah I hope you are safe, ye moll @ihsanadhlanhakim"

Through his Instagram account, actor Teuku Wisnu also uploaded his condolences for the victims left behind. "Do not forget to all SAR teams who are struggling in the search, hopefully health will be given."

Artist and member of the DPR, Krisdayanti, shared the video from the Sriwijaya Air account. He expressed his deep condolences to the families and victims who were left behind.
