The Latest Developments Of The Pertamina Plumpang Depot Fire: 13 Killed And More Than 600 Refugees

JAKARTA - The number of victims who died in the fire incident was corrected to 13 people. Previously, it was stated that there were 17 people. The data has been updated based on information listed at the Koramil 01 Command Post, Koja.

The number of people who died for adults was 10 people and 3 children. The dozens of bodies have been taken to the East Jakarta Police Hospital for identification.

Meanwhile, 49 people were burned, with details of 46 adults and 3 children.

Previously reported, Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran said that his party was currently carrying out an identification process for the victims who died.

"Sekarang sedang beresung di RS Polri Kramat Jati karena ini segera diperlukan agar bisa segera dikembalikan ken keluarganya," kata Fadil kepada wartawan di lokasi, Sabtu, 4 Maret.

Fadil revealed that of the dozens of victims who died, some suffered burns of up to 100 percent.

"It's in the process now, because the condition of the victim is intact, some have 100 percent burns," he concluded.

As many as 600 residents chose to evacuate, due to a fire incident at the Pertamina Depot, Koja, North Jakarta (Jakut). PJ Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono has prepared five locations for evacuation sites for victims of the severe fire at the Pertamina Depot.

"The mayor's office in North Jakarta, the Child Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), the Sports Center (GOR), and of course the District Office and the Indonesian Red Cross office," he concluded.
