Jurgen Klopp Throws Psywar, Manchester United Is Considered More Profitable Ahead Of Visiting Anfield

JAKARTA - Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said Manchester United would benefit more before the meeting of the two teams at Anfield Stadium, Sunday, March 5.

Klopp said this because he felt the Red Devils had more time to rest their key players.

While the Reds as the hosts, have just lowered their best strength to win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

"I think MU is a team that is in its best form right now, maybe together with Arsenal and Manchester City. Those teams are in good moments," Klopp was quoted as saying by Manchester Evening News on Friday, March 3.

"I haven't seen the line-up (MU vs West Ham) yet, but maybe they changed some players. That means some of their (players) will be a little fresher than us," Klopp said.

Liverpool and MU both just appeared on Thursday, March 2 in the morning. Liverpool beat Wolves in the English Premier League, while the Red Devils beat West Ham United in the FA Cup.

MU, which was strengthened by some of the reserve players, won 3-1 over West Ham. The Red Devils manager, Erik ten Hag, has indeed backed up a number of key players such as Casemiro, Marcus Rashford, Leandro Martinez and Raphael Varane. The four players only entered in the second half.

Although he realized that MU had more time to rest his players, Klopp was not worried about this condition. The German manager believes that Liverpool also have a good chance to avenge the 1-2 defeat to Manchester United in the previous meeting.

"It's our home game and it's Anfield. I think Anfield proves again against Wolves, it's super, it's great. It feels like the right thing, we're all together, I like it. That's what we need again on Sunday (against MU), but of course (the match) will be difficult, "said Klopp.

"Once again, if you face MU at the weekend, regardless of the results you got before, you have to counterattack. We have to build up performance and good results, we will try everything to do that."
