Abarth Introduces Limited 500e Edition, Slowly Starting To Enter Electric Vehicles
After introducing 500e to the public last November, Abart re-released Abarth 500e with a limited edition for the British market. The "limited edition" 500e version is named "Scorpionissima".
Abart is getting more and more steady to move to the EV world, after the previous 500 model used gasoline-fueled engines. Please note, Abart 500e is the first electric car produced by the automaker with the cooperative logo.
For the "Scorpionissima" edition, Abart only produces 1,949 units. For colors, the limited edition cars are available in the colors "Acid Green" and "Poison Blue"
From the exterior side, it can be seen that Abarth 500e is more aggressive and sporty. Of course, this is quite different from the previous Abarth 500 models. Meanwhile, for the interior, Abarth offers a sporty impression with a flat bottom steering wheel and a digital dashboard that looks simple.
For the power offered, Abarth 500e is powered by front-wheel electric drive with a power of 153 dk and a torque of 253 Nm. The battery installed in this car has a capacity of 42 kWh, as in general.
It has not been disclosed for the distance. However, Abarth claims that 500e has the ability to recharge a battery of 85 kW. With this, Abarth 500e can charge 80% with only 35 minutes.
Its power is certainly not as big as its predecessor or Abarth 595 and 695 with 180 dk of power, but Abarth offers faster acceleration. They claim 500e can accelerate from 0-60 km/hour within 1.5 seconds. Faster than 695 which takes 2.5 seconds.
Abart 500e will be available for sale this June. The price is priced at 38,695 pounds per unit or around IDR 700 million.
