JAKARTA - Red Velvet will hold their first concert after 3.5 years. The concert titled R to V will be held for two days in South Korea.

Today, Friday, March 3, SM Entertainment uploaded a poster showing five members of Red Velvet. Irene, Wendy, Seulgi, Joy, and Yeri look stunning in black clothes with the concept of posters dominated by black and red.

The R to V concert will be held from April 1 to 2 at KPSO Dome where the first day will be held at 18.00 and the second day starting at 16.00 South Korean time.

R to V marked their latest concert after the last time holding Laploy in 2019. But Red Velvet has never had a world tour of their careers.

This concert can also be watched by Red Velvet fans around the world. SM Entertainment announced that fans who cannot watch live can buy streaming access via the Beyond LIVE application.

The Red Velvet concert is one of SM Entertainment's plans in 2023. In the midst of a feud with label founder Lee Soo Man, the agency launched a number of plans for several of their artists.

Red Velvet is said to be holding its inaugural concert in the second half of 2023. Apart from Red Velvet, Taeyeon is also preparing for a solo concert and is planned to be held in several places.

Previously, Red Velvet was planned to hold the The ReVe Festival: Prologue concert in March 2022. But the concert was canceled after three Red Velvet members were confirmed positive for COVID-19 and quarantined.

Their last release was The ReVe Festival 2022 with the main track Birthday. They also collaborated with aespa on the song Beautiful Christmas for SM Town's winter project.
