Engineering Supporting Names, 7 DPD Candidates In Gorontalo Declared Failed To Participate In The 2024 General Election
GORONTALO - The General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Gorontalo Province, still finds many names listed on the list of support for 7 candidates for DPD RI members, in monitoring the stages of factual verification of the minimum support requirements for phase one voters.
"In optimal supervision, we still find many names painted. This was found in the information system of political parties (SIPOL) and confirmed in factual verification, for simultaneous elections in 2024," said a member of the Gorontalo Province Bawaslu, as Coordinator of the Legal and Settlement Division of Disputes, Ahmad Abdullah, quoted by ANTARA, March 2.
In the future, he said, to ensure transparency and accountability of performance in the implementation of the election stages, the General Election Commission (KPU) of Gorontalo Province needs to be more open to data access and the results of the work carried out.
This is to prevent name profiteering and to be confirmed in factual verification, so that the KPU in designing SIPOL should immediately make corrections or improvements as a form of response to resolve the problem of public complaints over profiteering in support of the nomination of DPD members.
Ahmad Abdullah said, optimizing the supervision of the election stages, including the open plenary meeting of the recapitulation of the results of factual verification of the minimum support requirements for voters at the first stage, the prospective member of the Gorontalo Provincial DPD for simultaneous elections in 2024, by the KPU.
The results of the surveillance that were recorded were 7 out of 16 candidates for DPD members for the Gorontalo Province electoral district, stated that they did not meet the requirements or BMS, regarding the minimum number of support for voters. On the other hand, 9 people were declared to have met the requirements or MS.
The seven candidates for the Gorontalo Provincial DPD who were declared by the BMS, namely Ana Supriana, Abdul Hamid, Ardjun H. Mogulaingo, Hengki Maliki, Jamaludin K. Moowago, Nirwana Natalia Dunda, Ramli Kasim and Ronald S. Bidjuni.
Meanwhile, 9 people who were declared to have MS, namely Adhyaksa Dault, Dewi Sartika Hemeto, Fadel Muhammad, Jasin U. Dilo, Rahmijati Jahja, Rusliyanto Monoarfa, Syarif Mbuinga, Tonny S. Yunus, and Yusri M. Helindo.
A member of the Gorontalo Provincial KPU of the Technical Division, Hendrik Imran, said that for prospective DPD members who have been declared MS, both the amount of support and distribution, they can register as candidates for DPD members from 1 to 14 May 2023. Meanwhile, candidates for DPD members with BMS status are given the opportunity to submit repair support from 2 to 11 March 2023.
