Many Roads Damaged And Descent Due To Rain In The Cakung Area

JAKARTA - Along Jalan Raya Bekasi, the Cakung area, began to be damaged by potholes due to rain inundation. Not only on the side of the road, the perforated asphalt inundated with rainwater is also almost completely visible to the middle of the road.

As a result of the large number of potholes, two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles from Pulogadung to Bekasi must slow down the speed of their vehicles to cause traffic jams.

Nur, one of the road users, said that he was very disturbed by the number of damaged roads. Apart from being dangerous, road damage is also feared to damage parts of his motorbike.

"Yes, when we talk about being disturbed, sir. So we, with the damaged road, the vehicle must also slow down, causing traffic jams as well. Hopefully, in the future there will be improvements from the local government," he said, Thursday, February 2.

Road users hope that the East Jakarta City Government will immediately make repairs by paving the damaged road. In addition, road repairs to minimize accident cases.

"If everything can be repaired, there are many potholes from there. Especially if it rains at night, we are afraid to pass here, it will be repaired more quickly," he said.
