Microsoft Will Disrupt The Dirty Words That Appear In The Teams Application With This Feature!
JAKARTA - Microsoft now gives users the ability to control what they see in Teams, by developing dirty word filters.
This feature has just been revealed in the Microsoft 365 roadmap, where the toggle will be added to filter dirty words. In Teams, the feature can be enabled or disabled in the Auto Caption section by the user.
"With the newly introduced switch to turn on/shut down the filtration of dirty words, users will now be able to control whether they want to continue to take advantage of the filtration capabilities of the dirty words provided outside the box, or, if they want to see every word as it is," said the Microsoft 365 roadmap.
The new Toggle is planned to be added to Teams for desktop and Mac users at first. However, users will have to wait a while to use the feature, as it is currently scheduled for General Availability in May 2023.
Currently, Microsoft is also reportedly working on a massive code reshuffle for Teams that will improve performance and use less energy, among other improvements.
The new version is thought to be planned for a release of public preview this month. For information, early February, Microsoft confirmed they were rebuilding Teams clients completely.
Microsoft Teams 2.0 will be the basic rebuilding of the technology that powers the service, as quoted by Winbuzzer, Wednesday, March 1.
Microsoft basically takes time to fully build new clients. It also marks the shift from Teams running on Electron to Microsoft's Edge Webview2.
