Slank Releases Ngono Ya Ngono Video Clip But Ojo Ngono Right On No Discrimination Day
JAKARTA - rock band Slank released a video clip of the song Ngono Ya Ngono Tapi Ojo Ngono on Wednesday, March 1.
The release of the video clip today coincides with the Day without Discrimination which is also commemorated today.
"On March 1, it is celebrated as World No Discrimination Day with a butterfly symbol that symbolizes a transformation to eliminate discrimination," wrote Kaka, vocalist of Slank, on his Instagram account.
"Right today, Slank released the video clip 'Ngono Ya Ngono Tapi Ojo Ngono'. The latest single also contains anti-discrimination messages against others," continued the owner of the full name Akhadi Wira Satriaji.
Ngono Ya Ngono's audio version But Ojo Ngono was released in December last year, coinciding with Slank's 39th birthday.
This song tells the story of tolerance. Through a song whose lyrics are Indonesian and Javanese, Slank wants to remind again of the tolerance in Indonesia.
