Staind Will Present Electronic Elements On New Album
JAKARTA - The rock unit from Maerika United States, Staind has completed the work on the new studio album that fans have been waiting for.
The band's frontman, Aaron Lewis, updated the album's recording progress during his solo concert on February 24 at Mount Vernon, Kentucky.
Before performing the song I Ain't Made In China, the 50-year-old guitarist/vocalist revealed this news to the audience.
"I just finished Staind's new album. And I just finished my new solo album. How do I find the time to do it, I'm not so sure. I think I'll sleep when I die," Lewis was quoted as saying by Blabbermouth, Wednesday.
Meanwhile, last December, guitarist Mike Musk told the Loaded Radio podcast about the musical direction of Staind's new material.
"A little more modern, in my opinion. I think it's something we want to do. There are a little more electronic elements there, which is something new for us, but I feel like everyone is doing that. But I think this is cool. Not too often used," he said.
"I think the song is very good. I really like it. I can't wait for people to hear it," he continued.
