Manchester City Qualifies For FA Cup Quarter-Finals, Opportunity To Win Three Titles Remains Guarded
JAKARTA - Manchester City stepped into the quarter-finals of the 2022/2023 FA Cup thanks to a win over Bristol City in the fifth round, Wednesday, March 1 in the morning WIB. In the match which took place at Ashton Gate, The Citizens won 3-0.
City's goals were scored by Phil Foden andbakid de Bruyne. Foden scored twice in this match.
The Citizens are the fourth team to qualify for the FA Cup quarter-finals. Previously, Fulham, Brighton and Hove Albion, and Blackburn Rovers had already qualified.
"The game was difficult for us. Bristol shows how great they are," Guardiola was quoted as saying by the BBC.
Guardiola admitted that he was impressed by several opposing players. Interestingly, the manager from Spain did not know the names of the players.
This victory makes City's hopes of winning trebles in the 2022/2023 season remain open. As is known, Ilkay Gundogan and his friends are still involved in competing titles in the English Premier League and Champions League.
