Elon Musk's Wealth Can Bail Out Disaster Management Budget In Indonesia For Up To 87 Years
JAKARTA - Tesla boss and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has just been named the richest person in the world. Musk's total wealth is estimated at US $ 185 billion or around Rp.2,600 trillion.
Nominally, Elon Musk's total wealth is allocated for the disaster management budget in Indonesia. So it is estimated that it is sufficient to cover Indonesia's needs in preparing an emergency response budget, for approximately the next 87 years.
Moreover, usually Indonesia's emergency response budget continues to increase from year to year. For example, the government disbursed a budget of Rp985.8 billion for handling emergency conditions and humanitarian missions against the earthquake in Lombok, in October 2018.
Then the government allocates funds for disaster emergency response in the 2020 State Budget (APBN) amounting to IDR 5 trillion. These funds are included in the budget allocation for fiscal reserves of Rp. 10 trillion, which is an increase from Rp. 8 trillion in 2019.
This means that if the Indonesian government submits a request for funding to Elon Musk. So Indonesia can save budget allocation for disaster emergency response funds that have been prepared.
Btw, critical feedback is always super appreciated, as well as ways to donate money that really make a difference (way harder than it seems)

The Indonesian government can even allocate this budget for other purposes, such as education, health or technology. Moreover, Musk has plans to expand his business in Indonesia.
Of course, the estimates above are limited to just counting numbers. Given the value of the stock prices of Musk companies such as Tesla and SpaceX are still moving dynamically.
Not to mention the amount of debt that Musk has to pay off. One of them is that Musk is also known to have personal debt of US $ 507 million or the equivalent of Rp.7.5 trillion to a number of banks in the United States.
