DPR May Successful F1 Powerboats Impact Of Economic Improvement Of MSMEs In North Sumatra Toba
JAKARTA - The House of Representatives (DPR) hopes that every international event held in Indonesia has a positive impact on the community. Through international motorboat racing F1 Powerboats (F1H2O) can boost Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Toba Regency, North Sumatra.
This was said by Member of Commission VI DPR RI Gde Sumarjaya Linggih after watching F1H20 in Balige, Lake Toba, North Sumatra, Sunday, February 26.
Gde Sumarjaya Linggih or commonly called Demer is grateful that the international event of racing the F1 Powerboat (F1H2O) motorcycle boat can be successfully held in Lake Toba, North Sumatra.
Even so, he hopes that this racing event can boost the economy of the Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector in the region.
"The impact for MSMEs around this toba will be very useful. Typical foods and art items of MSMEs are also an attraction for tourists here," said Demer.
He also expressed his gratitude for holding the international-class event in North Sumatra. Demer also saw that the competition which lasted for February 25-26, 2023, had succeeded in becoming a people's party that could be enjoyed by many people.
This event also further increased the promotion of Lake Toba specifically as a priority destination for Indonesian tourism.
"Hopefully Indonesia will be re-elected for other international events. Moreover, today we witnessed how the collaboration of SOEs was successful in holding this competition. Of course, this positive experience will be positive information and increase world confidence in Indonesia in holding events with the same level," explained Demer.
On the same occasion, Member of Commission VI DPR RI Rafli appreciated the big idea of this international event. However, he paid attention so that events with similar levels can also be turned on in all regions and provinces in Indonesia, such as Aceh Province, which is no less interesting. For this reason, it is necessary to study and evaluate thoroughly about the location and environment.
"The community can also be fully involved and fully support it. In advance, it is better to make massive socialization. Because what we hope is that this event can be beneficial for the economy in terms of the welfare of MSMEs in the community," concluded the legislator for the Aceh I electoral district.
