JAKARTA - A slide with the Ministry of Health's logo on the schedule for the initial injection of the COVID-19 vaccine has appeared on social media.

In the slide, it is explained that on January 13, there will be a number of first vaccine recipients who will accompany President Joko Widodo including artists such as Raffi Ahmad, Bunga Citra Lestari, to Tirta Mandira Hudhi or known as Dr. Tirta and television presenter Najwa Shihab.

Responding to this, the Director of Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Health, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, confirmed that the schedule was not an official release from the Ministry of Health.

"The slide is not an official release from the Ministry of Health and the information cannot be used as a reference," said Nadia when confirmed by reporters, Friday, January 8.

Nadia explained that until now the implementation and figures who will take part in the COVID-19 vaccination are still in the discussion stage. In addition, the government is still waiting for an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the Food and Drug Administration (BPOM).

"The implementation and figures who will follow the inaugural COVID-19 vaccination are still in the discussion stage and we are still waiting for the EUA to be issued," he said.

Nadia asked all parties not to refer to and disseminate the information. The public is asked to wait for official information about the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination.

To note, besides the artist's name, there are also other names that will receive the vaccine for the first time. This name is divided into three groups.

On January 13, group 1 consisted of public officials such as the president, minister of health, minister of state-owned enterprises, foreign minister, minister of national education, commander of the TNI, Kapolri, head of the Covid-19 Task Force, head of BPOM.

Then group 2 is the management of professional associations and health key opinion leaders, such as the Chairperson of IDI, the Chairperson of PPNI, the Chairperson of PP IBI, the millennial vaccine expert Dirgayuza Rambe, the Chairperson of the Muhammadiyah Covid-9 Command Center, the Chairperson of the NU Cares for Covid-19 Task Force, Najwa Shihab, a doctor. Tirta, Bunga Citra Lestari, and Raffi Ahmad.

Next group 3 is religious figures, such as the Chairman of PBNU Marsudi Syuhud, representatives of Muhammadiyah, Secretary General of MUI, Ustad Das'ad Latief, representatives of Christian, Catholic, Buddhist and Hindu organizations.

On January 14 and 15, the injection of the COVID-19 vaccine was given to local public officials, administrators of health professional associations, and regional health figures, to regional religious leaders.
