The Ministry Of PUPR Has Completed The Construction Of Pansela Street In East Java For 85 Km Throughout 202
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) continues to complete the Jawa South Coast Road (Pansela) which is targeted to be connected from Banten to East Java (East Java).
Throughout 2022, the construction of a new 85 km road in East Java Province has been completed, bringing the total Pansela Jatim Road which is handled along 349.37 km from a total length of 628.39 km.
The construction of Jalan Pansela, East Java, is expected to become a tourist route for the southern coastal area and facilitate connectivity in the southern part of Java Island and reduce the traffic burden of North Coast (Pantura) Jawa.
"We continue to promote the Pansela Jawa route, so that people are interested in going south, because not only the road is good, but also has a beautiful view (panoramic road) and there are many tourist attractions," said PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono in a written statement, Friday, February 24.
The handling of the Pansela Line in East Java Province consists of three sections, namely the Jarit-Puger section and the Paseban I and II bridges in Lumajang and Jember Regencies along 54.13 km, the Balekambang - Kedungsalam Simpang section in Malang Regency along 18 km, and the Tulungagung-Serang-Batas Regency Bound Road. Malang Regency along 12.85 km.
The construction costs of the three segments are worth IDR 795.4 billion with a work period of 2019-2022.
With the completion of the handling of the three sections of Jalan Pansela in East Java, it is hoped that it can be an alternative for travelers from Lebaran this year, so that the traffic load is divided and does not accumulate on the Cross of Pantura and Central Cross of Java.
In addition to the good road conditions, travelers can also enjoy the scenery along the Pansela route which passes through many beach tourist sites.
This year, the Ministry of PUPR through the East Java-Bali National Road Implementation Center (BBPJN), the Directorate General of Highways, resumed handling the 40,278 km Pansela Street covering the ROAD Prigi - Tulungagung Regency Limit - Klatak - Brumbun in Trenggalek Regency and Tulungagung Regency for 18.30 km.
Then, the Jalan Pantai Sine - Blitar Regency limit in Tulungagung Regency is 14.09 km, the Ringinrejo Road - Malang Regency Limit in Blitar Regency is 3.95 km, and the Blitar Boundary Road - Purwodadi 5 Intersection in Malang Regency is 3.938 km.
For your information, the Pansela road section spans five provinces on the island of Java, including Banten Province with the Simpang Labuhan -Batas section of West Java Province along 169.5 km. Then, in West Java Province with sections from the Banten Province -Sindang Barang Province Boundary to Central Java Province with a length of 417.1 km.
Next, the Pansela Cross Road in Central Java Province with sections starting from the West Java Provincial Limit - Congot -Duwet to Glonggong along 212.5 km.
Furthermore, in DI Yogyakarta Province with the Karang Nongko - Legundi to Duwet segment is 120.8 km. Finally, the sections in East Java Province with the Panggul - Sendangbiru - Jarit - Puger to Glenmore section are 628.39 km.
The handling of the Javanese Pansela Cross is carried out through new road construction work, road preservation or maintenance activities, rehabilitation, road and bridge reconstruction, as well as road widening, leading to sustainable standards to maintain roads in stable condition.
