Aespa's Black Mamba Music Video Gets 100 Million Views

JAKARTA - K-pop group aespa set a new record with their debut.

As of today, Friday, January 8, Black Mamba's music video has been viewed more than 100 million times. This song is aespa's debut in the entertainment industry and was released on November 17, 2020.

This record was achieved in one month, 21 days and 11 hours to overtake the previous record. On his Twitter, aespa also mentioned that previously this music video was the most watched music video among K-pop group debuts.

Previously, ITZY with their debut DALLA DALLA won 100 million views in one month and 28 days.

Aespa's debut was greeted very positively by K-pop fans. Aespa was named Billboard's Korean version of Best Rookie and the song Black Mamba topped the Billboard charts for three consecutive weeks.
