BANTUL - Bantul Police, Yogyakarta Special Region, secured evidence of a package of marijuana with a net weight of 969 grams from the suspect who was part of a group of narcotics dealers and illegal drugs."Our members managed to secure two perpetrators who are a group of dangerous drug dealers and marijuana from the Bantul network, especially in Kasihan," said Bantul Police Chief AKBP Ihsan at a press conference at the Bantul Police Headquarters, Antara, Thursday, February 23.According to him, the disclosure of the marijuana trafficking case began with public information, then his party conducted an investigation.The two perpetrators, each with the initials DS, a resident of Samigaluh Kulonprogo and INR, a resident of Jetis Yogyakarta, were secured at DS, Kasihan Bantul, DIY, on January 30, 2023."First, we secured evidence of a package of marijuana-type narcotics with a total of 969 grams from DS' brother, then at the same place we secured INR's brother with evidence of dangerous drugs for cow pills as many as four clear plastic clips, and 608 white pills bearing Y," he said.According to him, the evidence of marijuana and dangerous drugs was taken to the Bantul Police and the two suspects. Subsequently, an interrogation was carried out from where the person concerned got the item."Based on information, it was stated that the perpetrator got the goods from an acquaintance with the initials RS in the Gayo Lues area, Aceh. Not immediately believing it, we then carried out an investigation and it was true that the person concerned got goods from Aceh with an online ordering system that sent them via expedition," he said.From this information, the Police Chief then ordered members of the Narcotics Investigation Unit. This team was led directly by the Deputy Head of the Resort Police to develop the case by leaving for Aceh Nangroe Darussalam."The team conducted an investigation. It is known that the RS brothers who are currently still DPO are indeed the perpetrators or players who specialize in marijuana, and information was obtained that they also have land planted with marijuana in the Gayo Lues mountainous area, Aceh," he said.On February 17, 2023, he said, the Bantul Police team backed up by the Gayo Lues Police Narcotics Unit visited the hospital. However, the person concerned was not there.However, a joint team from the Bantul Police and Gayo Lues Police finally found a 2 hectare marijuana area, which the hospital had harvested, and was the rest of marijuana obtained from DS."On the way, the joint team also found an unknown marijuana land with an area of 1 hectare.
