Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Welcomes PPKM Aka PSBB Java Bali, PSMBK Adjusted
BOGOR - The Bogor City Government welcomes the central government's decision to impose restrictions on community activities (PPKM) or commonly known as the Java Bali PSBB. The partial PSBB in certain areas of Java and Bali was implemented from 11-25 January.
"The Bogor City Government has responded strongly. There must be broadly coordinated steps to reduce the rate of transmission of COVID-19," Bima Arya said in Bogor City as quoted by Antara, Thursday, January 7.
According to Bima, the Bogor City Government responded to the central government's decision, namely adjusting it to the micro and community-scale social restrictions (PSBMK) that had been implemented.
"In implementing the Java-Bali PSBB, we will evaluate the operational hours of the business sector and community activities," he said,
Bima assesses that there are several new policies for the implementation of PSBB throughout Java and Bali, namely tightening restrictions on community activities.
First, operating hours of malls and shopping centers until 19:00 WIB. Second, limitation of activities in restaurants and restaurants to 25 percent. "That means there are fewer activities than before, namely 50 percent," he said.
Third, the implementation of working from home and working from the office (WFH and WFO) while maintaining strict health protocols. "So, the public must always be vigilant, even more vigilant," he said.
According to Bima Arya, the PSBB policy plan for Java-Bali that will be implemented by the central government is in principle in line with the PSBMK policy.
"Only three things will be further guided, namely WFH, mall operating hours, and restrictions on restaurant and restaurant activities," he said.
