Whisnu Sakti perfected the regulation regarding the Java-Bali PSBB

Meanwhile, the Acting Mayor of Surabaya, Whisnu Sakti Buana, stated that he would change the Perwali No. 67 of 2020, whose contents are almost the same as the central instructions regarding the Java-Bali PSBB. This step is an attempt so that Surabaya does not apply the total PSBB.

"It only remains to change a little in Chapter V Limitation of Community Activities. What is clear is that Perwali 67 still refers to the Minister of Home Affairs or decisions on it. So that if there is another decision on it, we do not need to change the Perwalinya anymore," said Whisnu, in Surabaya, Thursday, 7 January..

According to Whisnu, Perwali 67 will be adjusted to several points in the instructions of the Minister of Home Affairs. Among them, 75 percent of work from home (WFH), shopping places or malls must close at 19.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, other activities are still limited until 22.00 WIB, and limit the capacity of restaurant visitors to 25 percent, which has been regulated by Perwali at a maximum of 50 percent.

In addition, it will intensify the sweeping of restaurant readiness, the day before the implementation of the PSBB on January 11th.

"We have also prepared it later on H-1, maybe we will sweep all the restaurants and restaurants to check the readiness for the implementation of the PSBB on January 11," he said.

Whisnu also appealed to Surabaya residents not to be traumatized by the PSBB. Because, he said, actually this PSBB is almost the same, with the everyday situation in Surabaya which has entered the new normal. This means that economic activity continues but health protocols are tightened so that there are some slight differences.

"We will reactivate the resilient village. We reactivate it so that we can distribute the assistance to the community," he said.

Whisnu stated that he would try to prevent the PSBB from being implemented in Surabaya, one of which was through discretion. He will also question the reasons for the tightening of the central government to be applied only to Surabaya Raya and Malang Raya.

"Can Surabaya be separated from this discretion or indeed if it has to be applied not only in Surabaya Raya and Malang Raya, but also in areas with red zones. Because Surabaya's condition handles 50 percent of patients who are not residents of Surabaya, so this should be more comprehensive in its application. , "he said.
