Social Minister Risma Active Blusukan, Observer; Society Don't Believe It

JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini, after being inaugurated, immediately blusukan to several areas in Jakarta. Although many thought this step was positive, not a few criticized Risma's action.

Public Policy Observer, Trubus Rahadiansyah, explained that Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had already done the style of blusukan in the style of Risma when he was running for governor of DKI Jakarta in 2012.

Not only Jokowi, a similar action was also carried out by Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno, when they ran for the governorship, 2017.

"Blusukan is like political marketing but in practice for Jakarta, the public doesn't believe it. The only business is PHP (False Hope), only political promises, where is the realization of blusukan? Rare,!" Trubus explained to VOI, Wednesday, January 6.

For example, continued Trubus, Jokowi's promise to build a reservoir in anticipation of flooding in Jakarta. Then Anies Baswedan-Sandiaga Uno with a home down payment (DP) of Rp0 and the OkeOce program.

With this bitter experience, Risma's blusukan is considered to have no effect because the public doesn't believe it.

"So, if Risma wants to sell, it doesn't sell, the moment isn't right. The people of Jakarta don't believe it, "he explained.

According to Trubus, Risma's blusukan polemic was carried out only for political decisions, welcoming the DKI Jakarta Pilkada. However, Risma forgot that Jakarta's conditions were different from Surabaya's.

"He (Risma) imagines that Jakarta is the same as Surabaya, right? The small city (Surabaya), the capital city of the country, is far different, more complex," concluded Trubus.
