The Ministry Of PUPR Gandeng Perbankan Syariah Kembangkan Financing Cheap Houses
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) encourages ownership of livable and affordable houses with subsidies for the community, one of which is through collaboration with PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Tbk.
This collaboration is carried out to provide housing financing assistance through the People's Housing Credit (KPR) distribution scheme.
The cooperation between sharia services and banking products was marked by the signing of a joint agreement between the Ministry of PUPR represented by the Secretary General (Sekjen) Mohammad Zainal Fatah and Bank Syariah Indonesia represented by the President Director Hery Gunardi.
"Of course it is impossible for this service to be provided without bank support. We partner with many banks, especially in the distribution of government support, such as the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) program," said Zainal Fatah in a press release, Wednesday, February 22.
Meanwhile, Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of BP Tapera Adi Setianto said this cooperation agreement would serve as a guideline and basis for BP Tapera's synergy with channeling banks in the operation of the distribution of subsidized housing provision programs.
In the first quarter of 2023, BP Tapera will focus on ensuring that ASN utilizes the Gema Tapera facility before this program is opened to all groups.
"This year's BP Tapera targets assistance for financing Tapera Houses in the form of home ownership loans, home renovation loans (KRR), and housing loans (KBR) as many as 12,072 units worth Rp1.5 trillion, and the FLPP Tapera House as many as 229 thousand units worth Rp25.18 trillion," said Adi Setianto.
According to Adi Setianto, the Ministry of PUPR is the first location in socializing the Gema Tapera program.
Furthermore, it will be carried out in a number of ministries/agencies in DKI Jakarta and planned roadshows in seven provinces, such as North Sumatra, South Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, East Java, East Nusa Tenggara and South Kalimantan.
"The participants who attend can directly make transactions and apply for Tapera facility services if they find their first suitable residence," he said.
