Former Kalibaru Police Chief Gets Sabu Inspector General Teddy Minahasa From Muncikari At Kedoya Jakbar

JAKARTA - The defendant in the drug trafficking case and former Kalibaru Police Chief Kompol Kasranto admitted that he received methamphetamine belonging to Inspector General Teddy Minahasa from a pimp named Linda.

"I have known Linda since the 2000s. She used to be a pimp," said Kasranto while testifying in a trial with the defendant Doddy Prawiranegara at the West Jakarta District Court (PN), Wednesday, February 22, and Antara.

Linda is an accomplice to Teddy Minahasa who helped spread methamphetamine. Linda is also currently a defendant.

He explained that it all started when Kasranto got a short message in October 2022.

At that time Linda told Kasranto that she had one kilogram of methamphetamine from someone under the nickname "Jendral".

Linda also asked Kasranto to sell the methamphetamine. Because Kasranto knew the methamphetamine belonged to a police general, Kasranto agreed to this.

"On September 24, 2022 at four in the morning, Linda sent a conversation, saying 'the goods pack is already there', okay, I'll go home later," Kasranto said in court.

Kasranto then took the item directly at Linda's house in Kedoya, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

The 1 kilogram (kg) methamphetamine was given by Linda in the form of a brown paper bag with floral motifs.

After that, the methamphetamine was taken to the Kalibaru Police Station by Kasranto.

Kasranto also summoned Janto Situmorang as the police officer who is currently a defendant.

He ordered Janto to sell the 1 kg methamphetamine. The methamphetamine was sold at a price of Rp. 500 million.

The money from the sale of methamphetamine was also divided for Janto, Kasranto and Linda. "Linda received Rp410 million, Janto Rp20 million and the remaining 70 million, I put the office," said Kasranto.

Total Kasranto sold Teddy's methamphetamine from Linda four times from September to October 2022.

Polda Metro Jaya stated that Inspector General Teddy Minahasa, who is also a former West Sumatra Police Chief, had ordered his subordinates to set aside evidence of methamphetamine-type narcotics from the results of the disclosure of the case to be circulated.
