JAKARTA - The stunning blue color of this mushroom is beautiful to look at. This blue mushroom is a resident of the Morowali nature reserve, Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi).

This blue mushroom with the Latin name mycena interrupta is a rare species of fungus that is rarely found. Mycena interrupta, quoted from the statement of the Central Sulawesi BKSDA, commonly known as pixie's parasol.

Although it has bright colors, it is not like other Mycena species which are bioluminescent (luminous). Mycena interupta doesn't give off any light of her own.

It is characterized by a bright blue color during the seedling period, and will slowly fade gradually during the growing process.
