Update On COVID-19 As Of February 20: New Case 119, Sembuh Added 238, Active Cases 3 Thousands

The COVID-19 Task Force released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 14,752 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 119 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,734,334 people and 121 active cases have dropped to 3,536," said COVID-19 Task Force data, Monday, February 20.

Today's recovered cases increased by 238 people, bringing the total to 6,569,910 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 2 cases and a total of 160,888 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 48 cases and a total of 1,541,316 cases. Followed by West Java which has 22 new cases with a total of 1,235,929 cases. East Java has 19 new cases and a total of 637,947 cases. Banten has 11 new cases and a total of 366,285 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 97 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 44 recovered cases, Banten with an additional 35 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 14 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigen reached 115,228,802.

"Positive results per number of people examined or this week's positivity rate of 1.23 percent", he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 578 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

Furthermore, currently there are 203,789,028 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 174,847,562 of the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 69,984,656 and the fourth dose was 2,442,472. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
