JAKARTA - Investigators at the General Crime Directorate, Bareskrim Polri, examined the President Director (Dirut) of Ummi Andi Tatat Hospital in a case suspected of obstructing the COVID-19 Task Force from conducting a swab test on Rizieq Shihab. Investigators also examined Ummi Hospital staff.
"That's right, just an additional investigation," said the Criminal Action Director of the National Police, Brigadier General Andi Rian, to reporters, Thursday, January 7.
Andi said that the examination of Ummi's hospital staff was the second time. Meanwhile, the President Director of Ummi Hospital was asked for the first time after being declared cured of COVID-19.
"(Andi Tatat) Already negative for COVID-19, he was examined at the Bogor Police," said Andi.
In this case, the police are still processing the investigation. Investigators still collect clues and information to find the suspect.
"There has been no determination of a suspect, investigators still need to complete the statements of several witnesses from the staff of the Ummi Hospital," he said.
This case began when the Bogor City Ummi Hospital was reported to the police because it was considered to be blocking the work of the COVID-19 Task Force team. The hospital is said to have not provided a complete explanation of Rizieq Shihab's COVID-19 swab examination.
The report is registered with the number LP / 650 / XI / 2020 / JBR / Bogor City Police, dated November 28, 2020, made by the COVID-19 Task Force.
However, the President Director of Ummi Hospital Andi Tatat denied that Rizieq Shihab and his family had fled from the hospital. Rizieq is said to have returned home at the request of his family.
