The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) received reports of alleged corruption in a periodic maintenance project for regional roads in Bima Regency worth IDR 10.49 billion.
Spokesperson for the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputera, said that the report on the alleged corruption in the 2021 Bima fiscal year came from community groups.
"We have received this report from the community and for follow-up to the handling, we are still waiting for directions from the leadership," he said in Mataram, NTB, Monday, February 20, as reported by Antara.
The direction from the Head of the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Nanang Ibrahim Soleh, he continued, would be the basis for the team to conduct report research.
"If there is a directive, it will be followed up with the report research process. In this case, a review of the report will be carried out," he said.
According to the complainant, the work on the project seems to have many irregularities in the use of road materials, so there are allegations that the work is not in accordance with the planning specifications.
The periodic maintenance project for regional roads in Bima Regency, which was reported by the community, is located at three points, namely Ncera-Sorimila, Sorimila-Sorinae, and Papa-Nggelu.
In accordance with the search results on the official website of the Bima Regency Electronic Procurement Service (LPSE), the type of procurement for the project is construction work with auction code number: 2008539.
The budget ceiling for the project under the Bima Regency PUPR Service Work Unit (Satker) is worth IDR 10.55 billion. The auction process starts on February 1, 2021.
Then, from the auction process, nine participating companies emerged with the winner with the contract contract of PT Budi Mas from Mataram City which pocketed a contract value of Rp10.49 billion.
Regarding the report, Nggempo, when the project was running in 2021 as Head of the Bima Regency PUPR Service claimed that the project work had been running according to implementation instructions.
"So, the accusation is not true, because the road conditions are already steady," said Nggempo.
In fact, he explained, the NTB Representative BPK and the inspectorate had conducted an examination after the work was completed.
"From the report on the results of their examination, there were no findings related to the volume of work and no one returned rupiah," he said.
