Exhorder Record Of First Album With Ex-Guitarist Cannibal Corpse, Pat O'Brien
JAKARTA - Pioneer thrash metal Explorer started recording sessions for their new album at Fat Track Studio in Cincinnati, Ohio with engineer Rob Nadler.
The follow-up to Mourn The Southern Skies (2019), which is scheduled for release later this year through Nuclear Blast, will be Exhorder's first album with former Cannibal Corpse guitarist Pat O'Brien, who made his live debut at the 2022 Maryland Deathfest.
Earlier on February 18, Exhorder frontman Kyle Thomas shared a photo of himself drinking at Kentucky Cincinnati/Northern International Airport. In the caption that accompanies the photo, he revealed the progress of the recording process for the new album Exhorder.
"The first broadcast of the recording session of the new Exhorder album was officially completed last night! Today I flew back to New Orleans in the midst of Mardi Gras' chaos," wrote Kyle.
"I raised this glass to my brothers in my fight at the Exhorder for the most interesting and exciting session I've been in for decades. Good preparedness and togetherness are helpful! The only thing left now is vocals, basss and Pat solos. We are very happy with these developments!
"Thank you to Robbie Nadler at Fast Track Studio for her outstanding work and insight. It's very easy for us to produce this session on our own with him at the top of engineering.
"Thank you also to our label, Nuclear Blast, for facilitating various things so we can run this session. We appreciate your enthusiasm for this project, and we will make it happen!"
