The Former King Hussein Late House Of Jordan In The United States Was Sold For IDR 743 Billion

JAKARTA - A house in Maryland that used to be owned by the late King Jordan Hussein and Queen Noor has been marketed at a price of 49 million US dollars or around Rp. 743,134,000,000.

The property, located in the Rockville area, is located on an area of 9.65 hectares, in the middle of a protected garden on the banks of the Potomac River. Wrapped with French limestone, the house has five bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, with an interior area of 30,000 square feet.

According to Sotheby's International Realty, the main land and buildings were acquired by Queen Noor, King Hussein's widow, for $8.64 million in 2000 by current property owners, Dan Snyder, owner of the NFL team Washington Commanders.

This property is a collaboration between architect John Ike and designer Geoffrey Bradfield, who worked together to create an impressive four-story home. The house is made of French milled limestone, but the roof of Mansard's stone and limestone, reported The National News 7 February.
