Survey, 65 Percent Of The Public Is Satisfied With The Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin Government

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Survey and Polling Institute (SPIN) released a survey showing that the public is very satisfied with the performance of President Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin's Government. In February 2023, he said, there was an increase of 3.6 percent of public satisfaction with the performance of the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Government when compared to the results of the December 2022 survey. In December 2022, he said, the level of public satisfaction was 62.1 percent or 2.9 percent was very satisfied and 59.2 percent was satisfied. In February 2023, he said, it became 65.7 percent. "In general, the public is optimistic that the performance of the Jokowi-Maruf Administration in 2023 will be better/far better than 2022," he said. Public majority or 71.5 percent of public public pubik is optimistic about the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Government and only 8.5 percent of the public is pessimistic about the government, he said. SPIN conducted a survey on February 3-13, 2023 with a total of 1,230 respondents. Respondent criteria, namely people aged 17 years and over or already married. Sampel distribution spread across 34 provinces using sample techniques using "multistage random sampling" at a 95 percent confidence level and "margin error" of plus minus 2.8 percent. Data collection techniques are carried out with live interviews and quality control of 10 percent of the sample.
