If Blusukan Risma In Thamrin Is Only 'drama', It Is The Same As Slapping The Jakarta Social Service

JAKARTA - Public Policy Observer, Trubus Rahadiansyah, said that the blusukan action carried out by the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini in the Sudirman-Thamrin area was something odd. So far, people with social welfare problems (PMKS) in these two areas are rarely encountered.

If the blusukan is a political scenario, then the former Surabaya mayor has indirectly harassed the Jakarta Social Service.

"The time in Sudirman and Thamrin suddenly had a lot of beggars? Is that how it was! Where did those beggars come from, so far there has never been one. That is the same as slapping or harassing the Jakarta Social Service which has been so desperate," explained Trubus when contacted. VOI in Jakarta, Thursday, January 7.

He explained that DKI residents could not be deceived by such blusukan tactics. From Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to Anies Baswedan, it has been proven that the promises during the blusukan were not realized.

In DKI Jakarta, for example, the promise of a house with a down payment (DP) of Rp0 or the OkeOce program, which became the sale of the Anies Baswedan-Sandiaga Uno campaign while advancing in the DKI Regional Election. Or, continued Trubus, Jokowi's promise regarding the construction of the reservoir to the construction of culverts in anticipation of the Jakarta flood.

"People are already smart, they can't be tricked. (If true) that's imaging," said Trubus.

According to Trubus, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government does not need to be reactive in responding to Risma's blusukan because there are many jobs waiting ahead. One of them is to ensure the distribution of social assistance funds (Bansos) appropriately. If necessary, the Provincial Government will oversee the distribution of these funds to the people's homes.

"So that it doesn't cut it, it's right on target. That is very important, especially now that people are still facing the COVID-19 pandemic. Any amount of assistance will be very beneficial for them," explained Trubus.
