Where Did The Source Of The 4 Million Dollar Savings By The Prosecutor Pinangki?
JAKARTA - New facts emerged during the trial of the alleged gratification of the Supreme Court (MA) fatwa arrangement with the defendant Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari. One of them is about Pinangki's savings of US $ 4 million.
In the trial, Pinangki always said that the funds to pay for all her needs and lifestyle came from savings prepared by her ex-husband, Djoko Budiharjo.
"First, the number is around 3 or 4 million," said Pinangki at a trial at the Corruption Court, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, January 6.
But Pinangki refused to mention that the money was inherited. According to her, the money was a savings that her ex-husband had prepared during his life, especially for Pinangki.
"But it's not an inheritance, sir, a deposit. My inheritance is subject to tax, sir. But if the savings means it is money I shared with him when he was alive, sir. So there is separation of our assets," said Pinangki.
In addition, the money was stored in US and Singapore dollars. However, Pinangki did not know for sure the nominal value of money if it was calculated in rupiah.
He said, this matter would be conveyed in detail at the next trial. In addition, Pinangki will also present witnesses and evidence if the money is a deposit.
"There is a note, later in my plea, it will be because it is detailed, not specific about (the number)," he said.
Regardless of that, Pinangki said, currently his savings are running low. Because, for several years that money has been used to fulfill his glamorous lifestyle.
In addition, the savings money has also been allocated to pay for several other interests. Including paying for the services of the lawyers.
"There is still 1 million US dollars to pay lawyers to pay others," he said.
It is undeniable that Pinangki's lifestyle is very different when compared to his colleagues. One example is involved in terms of beauty care.
Within a year, Pinangki can spend IDR 100 million for body and beauty treatments. This was revealed when Doctor Olivia Santoso, as the defendant's home care doctor, gave testimony at the trial.
"In 1 year it could be more than Rp100 million, it was like that before," said Olivia.
The expensive treatment, said Olivia, consists of a multivitamin injection, medicines and consultation fees. But all of that is only to maintain the condition of his body.
"For medicines, the rate is around Rp. 800 thousand to Rp. Rp. Rp. 1 million, while for consulting services, Rp. 300 thousand per day for weekdays, and Rp. 500 thousand for weekends," he said.
Meanwhile, for beauty treatments, Pinangki has to spend more money. He was noted to have often undergone botox injections, which were quite expensive.
For one injection, continued Olivia, the money that must be paid is IDR 7 million. So that if the nominal value is accumulated, it can reach tens of millions of rupiah.
"I have injected collagen botox, it is for wrinkles, for skin health, for example if there is an unsymmetry," he said.
Then, Pinangki's younger brother, Pungki Primarini, also had time to tell his brother's luxurious lifestyle. One of them was staying at the luxury Trump Tower hotel when they visited the United States.
In fact, all the travel and lodging costs were borne by Pinangki. "My brother paid," he said.
Pungki said he had been to the US several times with Pinangki. They visited there to check on Pinangki's health.
"As far as I know, at that time I went to the doctor for a nose job for the defendant's sinuses, then checked for breast control, maybe cancer," said Pungki.
"Yes (three times). Around 2018, 2019 and 2020," he continued.
Apart from a glamorous lifestyle, the trial also revealed that Pinangki's expenditure in a month reached Rp. 80 million. This was discovered when Pungki mentioned that his brother always sent large amounts of money.
In one time sending money, the nominal reaches hundreds of millions. The money was used to pay for 6 employees which accumulated to reach Rp32.7 million. The rest is used to meet daily needs.
"Household assistant Rp. 6.5 million per month, Zamizah baby sitter Rp. 7.5 million, Puji Kriswanto driver replaces Sugiarto (Gito) with Rp. 5 million in salary and Rp. 3 million for food, Elisabet cooks Rp. 4.2 million per month," he explained.
"Ade Rohmat earns Rp3 million looking after my father, Turiyah is paid Rp3.5 million," he continued.
Attorney Pinangki was charged with three counts, namely the first charge of receiving a bribe of US $ 500,000 (around Rp7.4 billion) from the convicted Bank Bali cessie case Joko Soegiarto Tjandra.
Second, the money laundering charges originating from the receipt of bribes amounting to 444,900 dollars or around Rp6,219,380,900.00 as money given by Joko Tjandra for processing fatwas to the Supreme Court.
Third, Pinangki was charged with committing malicious conspiracy along with Andi Irfan Jaya and Joko Tjandra to bribe officials at the AGO and MA worth 10 million US dollars.
