Minister Of Energy And Mineral Resources Lantik Jisman Hutajulu Becomes Director General Of Electricity

JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif inaugurated Jisman Parada Hutajulu as Director General of Electricity on Friday, February 17.

In his remarks, Arifin asked the new Director General of Gatric to complete several important tasks including electricity issues in the new capital city.

"Some of the tasks that I ask for must be completed by the new Director General of Gatric, among others, are the provision of electricity for the nation's capital, increasing the electrification ratio and ratio of electricityd villages," said Arifin Tasrif in his remarks, Friday, February 17.

Arifin also asked Jisman as Director General of Electricity to increase electricity supply on 24 hours, implement electricity subsidies on target and competitive electricity rates, increase electricity consumption per capita, and carry out energy transitions.

Jisman was born in Tapanuli on January 18, 1967. He started his career as a Civil Servant (PNS) in 1993. In 2000, Jisman served as PJ. Head of Electricity Price Analysis Distribution. A year later, he became the Head of Electric Power Selling Price.

His career continued to climb until 2018, Jisman became the Director of Electricity Program Development. Four years later, in 2022 he changed to Director of Electricity Entrepreneurship Development. Jisman is also actively involved in Civil Servant Investigators (PPNS) for Electricity and has been the Head of PPNS since 2014 until now.

In 2003, Jisman was awarded the Satyalancana Karya Satya 10 years. In 2013, he was awarded the Satyalancana Karya Satya 20 years.

Various programs he participated in include Energy Efficiency Visit in Denmark in 2017, The 37th ASEAN Minister on Energy Meeting (AMEM) in Thailand in 2019, and attending the UN Climate Change Conference COP 26th in Glasgow, England in 2021.
