On The Second Day Of Search, A 10-year-old Boy Drowned In The Batanghari River Found Mining
JAMBI - The joint SAR team found Nizam on the second day of the search. The 10-year-old boy was found dead 500 meters from a missing location
Head of Basarnas Jambi Kornelis said the victim drowned while playing in the sand on the banks of Batang Hari River, Jambi on Wednesday, February 15.
On the second day of the search operation on Friday, February 17, the joint SAR team conducted a search by combing and diving and at around 15.00 WIB, the search yielded results.
Nizam was found lifeless floating in the Batang Hari river by the joint SAR team consisting of Basarnas Jambi, TNI, Polri, BPBD Batang Hari and the community
"Furthermore, the Joint SAR Team immediately evacuated the victims to the funeral home.
"After the evacuation, the SAR operation is declared complete and the elements involved return to their respective units," said Kornelis.
Earlier on February 15 at 14.50 WIB, the victim on behalf of Nizam drowned while playing in the sand with his friend but the victim who could not swim finally drowned and was dragged by the swift current of the Batang Hari river in Teluk Ketapang Village, Pemayung District, Batang Hari.
